Gregory Tolios Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregory Tolios of Naperville, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gregory farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gregory is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his brother Angelo (Pat); and his parents, John and Stamata. He is survived by: his wife Leah; his children, John Tolios and Tina Antonopoulos (Peter); his granddaughter Victoria; and his sibling Katerina (late Athanasios).
Because of Gregory's unwavering faith and dedication to the monastery, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, memorials in his name be made to St. John Chrysostomos Orthodox Monastery.
