He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ella Reed and Edwin Reed Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Reed; his children, Jason Reed (Jennifer) of Aurora, IL and Jill Schmidt (Geoffrey Schmit) of Lisle, IL; his grandson Jacob Kaplan; his siblings, Edwin Reed of South Carolina and Lucretia Mottley (James) of South Carolina; his brother-in-law Wilson Corwin; his nieces and nephews, McCammon, James, Thomas, Mary Ella, Susan, Brian, Karen and Don; and his pets, Mitzi, Katie and Punky.
