As Delbert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Delbert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Delbert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Julia and Jenny; and his nephew Jaffar. He is survived by: his siblings, John Searles and Jana Naber (Nidal).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (9000 S Menard Ave, Alsip, IL 60803).
