It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Atnip of Murrayville, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Chapman and Lola Winner Chapman; her husband Charles "Pete" Atnip; and her siblings, Lynn Chapman, Maxine Coates and Barbara Chapman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Moore (Darrell) of Winchester and Kary Atnip Nichols of Kansas City, KS; and her siblings, Robert Chapman (Lynda) of Jacksonville, David Chapman (Ann) of Bluffs, Keith Chapman (Carol) of Festus, MO and Alma Traver of Washington. She is also survived by three granddaughters; two great grandsons.
