It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Lucille Vedder of Murrayville, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lee Morris and Donetta Johnson Jeffrey; her husband Billy A. Vedder; her children, Vickie Scott (David) of Barrington, Susan Steckel (Lance) of Winchester, Billy Vedder (Becky) of Murrayville and Nancy Miller (Jerry) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Bradley Scott (Julie), Kathryn Bartos (Johnathon), Tolley Steckel (Michelle), Tyler Steckel, Tanner Steckel, Casey Allen (Bobby), Whitney Dolen (Cory), Mickenzie Kirkpatrick (Derek), Bailey Becker (Justin), Anita Rehmeier (Eric), Melissa Douglas (Brian), Paul Miller (Candy) and Lea Anne Miller; her brother Gene Jeffrey of Booneville, MO; her sister-in-law Lorene Jeffrey of Mexico, MO; and her brother James Jeffrey. She was also cherished by 22 great-grandchildren with one on the way; 2 great great grandchildren.

Services for Lucille have been delayed due to COVID 19.

Memorials are suggested to the Nortonville Cemetery.
