She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Day and Alma Wells Day. She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Sharon Piper (late Mike) of Roodhouse, Carl W. VanGiesen of Roodhouse and Alan VanGiesen (Jill) of Murrayville; and her grandchildren, Kara VanGiesen, Erin Peacock (Brandon), Alicia Riley, Michael Vangiesen and Ryan VanGiesen. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 2 step grandsons; 1 step granddaughter; several step great grandchildren and 1 step great great granddaughter.
