He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Peterson and Russell Peterson; and his son Armin Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Lamb; his sister Marie Peterson; his sons, Eric Peterson and John Venice Lamb (Cory); and his grandsons, Venice, Anthony Liam and Paxton.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church (402 W Mill St, Carbondale, IL 62901). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Samaritan House and/or to the Alzheimer's Association.
