It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila L. Baker of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheila L. Baker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Clifford and June McBride; and her brother-in-law Scott Barnett. She is survived by: her parents, Ray McBride and Vickie McBride (Smith) of Ava, IL; her boyfriend Steven Sathoff of Murphysboro, IL; her children, Kyle Baker of Ava, IL and Karlie Lewis (Coltin) of Columbia, MO; her granddaughter Lynzie Baker; and her siblings, Sherry Barnett of Ava, IL and Michael McBride (Jennifer) of Ava, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wilson's Funeral Home (206 S 5th St, Ava, IL 62907). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
