He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Boyer and Nettie Boyer (Calandro); his nephew Bryce Lingle; and his brother-in-law Terry Lingle. He is survived by: his son Robert Boyer (Andy); his granddaughter Alana Boyer of Murphysboro, IL; and his sisters, Mary Frances Welters (Neil), Patricia Daniels (Dennis) and Linda Lingle. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Andrew's School in Murphysboro, Illinois.
