He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Allen and Doris Audrey Lavell (Holt). He is survived by: his wife Marcie Lavell; his daughter Heather Lavell; his close friends, Steven Smith, Jr. and Steven Smith, III; and his sisters, Sandra Lavell and LaDonna Luckey (Vince). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
