He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Heins and Roberta Heins (Leinicke); and his sister Betty Frischkorn. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn C. Heins of Murphysboro, IL; his children, Craig Heins (Tracy) of Murphysboro, IL and Michele Crews (Clinton) of Murphysboro, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle Heins (Fran), Brittany Niermann (Mike), Cole Crews and Brenden Heins (Kacy); and his half-brother Terry Heins (Gabrielle) of Cape Girardeau, MO.. He is also survived by six Great Grandchildren.
Due to executive order, face masks must be worn, and social guidelines must be followed.
Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale and mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 277, Ava, IL 62907.
