She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Logan and Dora Jacquot Kimmel; her husband Lavern Ward (Soggy); her siblings, Howard Kimmel, Marie Shepard, Clyde Kimmel, Gladys McLaughlin and Ardell Kimmel; and her grandson Stephen Ward Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Williams of Murphysboro, Brenda Shadron of Cape Girardeau and Sharon Jones (Michael) of Murphysboro; her grandchildren, Kimberly Roberts (Bill) of Greenville, Nicole Williams (Brandon Bilderback) of Carbondale, Alison Koehler of Cape Girardeau, Andrew Shadron (Carmen) of Loveland, Robin Sievert (Todd) of St. Louis and Holly Fletcher (Chad) of Herrin; and her great grandchildren, Drew, Mallory Roberts, Megan Powell (Blake), Emily Davidson, Jared Koehler, Nathan, Reagan Shadron, Samuel Sievert, Preston and Fiona Fletcher. She is also survived by three daughters, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Sallie Logan Library, or Murphysboro United Methodist Church and may be sent in care of Crawshaw Funeral Home.
