He is survived by: his wife Sarah Isabelle Parrish; his sons, Bruce Doerr (Kathy) of Murphysboro and Brad Doerr (Theresa) of Murphysboro; his grandchildren, Brett Doerr (Rebecca) of Murphysboro, Melinda Guthman (Matthew) of Murphysboro, Brooke Guthman (Ryan) of Murphysboro and Justin Doerr (Cara) of Murphysboro; his foster daughter Sharon Stallings of Murphysboro; his great grandchildren, Ellee, Isabelle Doerr, Avery, Myles, Kate Guthman, Caroline, Elias, Liam Guthman, William Hawthorne, Max and Elizabeth Doerr; his siblings, William "Bill" Doerr of Carbondale, Ray Doerr of Vergennes and Ruth Tindall (Doerr) of Murphysboro; and also Janie King (Pullis) of Wylie, TX.. He is also survived by several brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, Parrish Cemetery Association, Central Cemetery Association, or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
