She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Doyle and Mary Elizabeth Grier (Coursey); her grandson Tyler; and her siblings, Barry and Deborah.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Dowdy, Sr.; her children, Larry Dowdy, Jr., Darrell Dowdy (Laurie Watrous) and Dion Kendra Phillips; her grandchildren, Braxton, Britni, Skyler, Gracie, Torie, Alyssa, Aaron James, Lizzie, Dallas, Corey and Austin; her siblings, John Jr., Mikey, Junior, Kelly and Sarah; and her friend Lynn Naumann. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
