With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Woodward of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jenkins and Eula Jenkins (Hoffman); her husband Delmar Woodward; her daughter Jane Robinson; and her sister Mary Jean Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Caroline Nelson (Jeff) of Edgar Springs, MO; her grandchildren, Thomas Davis (Robin) of Makanda, Timothy Davis of Steelville, Jacob Green of Beulah, MO, Jenna McCann (Chris) of Beulah, MO, Zach Nelson (Julie) of Murphysboro and Jared Nelson of Collinsville; and her great grandchildren, Hayley Green of Beulah, MO, Emmalyn of Beulah, MO and Emmaire McCann of Beulah, MO. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of love may be directed to St. Andrew Catholic Church and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital and will be accepted at the services.
