She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Kinder and Verna Kinder (Davis); and her siblings, Howard Kinder of Nashville, IL and Gerry Magder (Joe Bigler) of Pleasanton, CA. She is survived by: her sister Kaye Bovey of Battle Ground, WA; her children, Cynthia Carter of Champaign, IL, Dayna Dechent (David) of Denver, CO and Philip Lannom (Brenda) of Alto Pass, IL; and her grandchildren, Kelly Byant of Champaign, IL, Philip II Lannom (Melinda) of Carbondale, IL, Brandi McDonald of Macomb, IL, Nikki Dechent of Denver, CO, Casey Dechent of Denver, CO and Kevin Clover of O'Fallon, IL. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southern Illinois Hospice.
