He is survived by: his wife Annette Miner of Murphysboro; his sons, Mykel Miner of Murphysboro, Kane Wilson of Murphysboro and Nyles Miner of Murphysboro; his grandchildren, Harper R. Wilson and Greyson T. Wilson; his brothers, Russell Miner (Ruth) of Murphysboro and Jerry Miner (Faye) of Murphysboro; and his great-niece Alexis Miner. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins.
