It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lizzie Launius of Murphysboro, Illinois, born in DeSoto, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Crane and Lorene Crane (Hawkins); her husband George Launius; her daughters, Judy Williams of Murphysboro, Joyce Crispin (Charles) of Murphysboro, Deborah Gallegos of Murphysboro and Mary Launius of St. Joseph, MO; and her siblings, Lillian Johnson, Leonard Crane, Arlene Rinehart (Bill) and Roy Crane. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
