He is survived by: his children, Leslie "DJ" Stoops (Julie) of Murphysboro and Jenifer Thomas (Jonathon) of Murphysboro; and his siblings, Mary Stoops of Los Angeles, CA, Lilliana Cooks of California, Peggy Harland (John) of Murphysboro, Diana (Dan Holmes), Michael Stoops (Patty) of Royalton, Ralph Aaron Stoops of Danville and Andrew Stoop of Los Angeles, CA.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
