He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Mills and Leon Mills; his wife Julia Rose Wright (Judy); and his grandson Devin Mills. He is survived by: his children, Melody Corso, Gary Mills (Brenda) and Mike Mills (Nina); his grandchildren, Jason Zastrow, Carrie Cookston (Jay), Elizabeth Stiegman (Steve), Casey Satterfield (Jason), Sarah Hammelman, Sean Mills (Macy) and Spencer Mills; his great grandchildren, Ryker Stiegman, Victoria Stiegman, Cecelia Faye Satterfield, Alexander Satterfield, Whitley Mills, Greyson Mills and Charlotte Hammelman; his sister Mary Pat Mills; and his brother-in-law John Hudgins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
