He was predeceased by: his father John W. Berry, Sr.; and his sisters, Jeanne M. Moses and Anne M. Berry. He is survived by: his mother Mary Anne Berry; his siblings, Susan L. Miller (Ralph), Laurie A. Feltmann (Thomas), Kevin J. Berry and Thomas Feltmann; his nieces, Alicia Ebers, Lindsay Haynes, Jessica LeMaster, Sarah Walter and Alice Miller; his nephew Chad Ebers; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Harlow Ebers, Lorraine Walter, Sawyer Ebers and Liam Walter.
In 2015, John moved to Jackson, Missouri, where he continued his philanthropic efforts, supporting local charities with generous donations.
