He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Taxi" Townley and Irene Townley (Ramey); and his brother Jim Townley. He is survived by: his children, Tina Townley of Carbondale, Jerry Townley, Jr. (Margie) of Marissa, Michael Townley (Tammy) of Carbondale, Tracy Cano of Murphysboro, Jamie Goodman (Amy) of Grand Tower, Jory Townley (Hilllary Sloan) of Carbondale and Jeremy Townley (Bethany) of Murphysboro; and his siblings, Terry Townley, Carl Townley of Belleville, IL and Melody Branam of East Prairie, MO.. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
