He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Smith and Alice M. Schemonia (Chuck). He is survived by: his stepmother Denise Lougeay; his son Griffen Peterson; his sisters, Laurie Neef (Bob) and Michelle (Steve Jines); his niece Savannah Neef; and his nephew Hunter Neef. He is also survived by many other family members loved ones and friends.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Makanda Masonic Lodge # 434, memorial envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
