With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Ann McGoy of Murphysboro, Illinois, born in Cairo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lee Andrew McGoy, George Nichols and Yvonne McGoy. She is survived by: her son Jeffery McGoy; her daughter-in-law Karen McGoy of Carbondale, Illinois; her granddaughters, Kiara Houston of San Antonio, Natasia Houston of Carbondale, Illinois and Aiyana Houston of Carbondale, Illinois; and her siblings, Jacqueline Warren of Peoria, Illinois, Joyce Flowers of Peoria, Illinois, Cordell McGoy (Ollie) of Marion, Cornell McGoy (Sheila) of Carbondale and Joyce Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, caregivers, friends.
