He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Andrew and Orpha J. Greer (Lynch); his wife Guenda Barnett; and his siblings, William Daniel Greer, Elizabeth Ann Ridgway and Mary Jane Mossman.
He is survived by: his sons, Andy (Heather Greer) and Daniel (Christy Greer); his sister Charlotte Mae Edmondson of Texas; his grandchildren, Ashley Hickam (Callie Buchanan), Skylar Greer, Elijah (Jaylynn Greer), Jared Greer, Christian Greer and Josiah Greer; and his great grandchildren, Spencer, Jayelle and Avalon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Christian Covenant Fellowship Church (1025 S Division St, Carterville, IL 62918). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
