He is survived by: his sons, Robert "Butch" Brasel (Cheryl) of Murphysboro, James "Jay" Brasel Jr. of Murphysboro and Christopher "Rusty" Brasel (Becky) of Ava; his grandchildren, Charlie Brasel (Ashley) of Centralia, Brittany Brasel of Murphysboro, Jennifer Tow (Daniel) of Elkville, Dylan Brasel of Ava and Mikayla Brasel of Ava; and his great grandchildren, Aidan Brasel of Centralia, Macey Tow of Elkville and Jackson Tow of Elkville.
