It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Leroy Herring of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sod Herring and Addie L. Herring (Reiman) of Murphysboro, Illinois.; and his son Tim Herring. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Herring (Mileur); his sister Frances Fisher (Charles) of Tampa, FL.; his son Todd Herring (Lena) of O'Fallon; his daughter-in-law Amy Herring-Hoppenstedt of Murphysboro; and his grandchildren, Grant, Garrett Herring of O'Fallon, Olivia and Sam Herring of Murphysboro.

The family asks that ALL attendees please wear a mask to the service.

Jack's family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the Tim Herring Memorial Scholarship Fund or The Murphysboro United Methodist Church.
