He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bush; his children, Jay Joseph Giffin of Murphysboro, IL, Cynthia Bell (Andrew) of Dow, IL and Chase Giffin (Cassie) of Wood River, IL; his grandchildren, Daniel Fitzgerald and Kairi Giffin; his stepgrandchildren, Lilah Bell, Elijah Bell and Hunter Gish; and his siblings, Mary Ann Allard, Dorothy Langworthy, Jerry Giffin and Frank Giffin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
