It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Ford (Murphysboro, Illinois), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on November 3, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Franklin Ford, Sr. and Geraldine Ford (Nagel); his brother Richard Allen Ford; his aunts, Willow Ford and Evelyn Suter (Virgil); his uncle Forrest Ford (Thelma); his niece Heather Howell; and his brothers-in-law, Mark and Gary Sniegowski.
He is survived by: his spouse Meri Clare (Sniegwski); his children, Traci Hirschfeld (Glen) of Sylvania, OH, Brie Imhoff (Tim) of Murphysboro and George Franklin Ford, III of Carbondale; his grandchildren, Adam Hirschfeld, MD (Devon), Alden (Lauren), Addison Hirschfeld (Alexa), Macie, Levi, Hallie, Dalton Cunningham, John and Elijah Imhoff; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Bastian, Hunter Hirschfeld, Vivian, Carson Hirschfeld and Witten Hirschfeld; his siblings, James Ford of Atlanta, GA and Patricia Howell (Joe) of Waynesfield, OH; his siblings-in-law, James (Cindy), Kenneth, Stephen, Robert Sniegowski (Gloriann), Jane Frost, Susan Little (Oscar) and Marjorie Sniegowski (Stan Wagganer); and his nieces and nephews, Kris Pruneau (Daniel), James Ford, II (Lauren), Michael, Jeffrey Ford, Chuck and Nathan Howell (Stephanie). He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
