It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derrick Dean of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Elza Dean and Patsy Jo Dean (Yow). He is survived by: his wife Karla Dean; his daughter Debra Dean of Carbondale, IL; and his stepchildren, Erin Mason of Marble Hill, MO and Galen Hooks of Hawaii. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Residential Hospice.
