He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raines and Doris Raines (Schuster); his brother Jim Raines; his in-laws, Wilbur and Lillian Jacquot; his granddaughter Tia Stewart; and his brother-in-law Joe Moore.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Jacquot of Murphysboro; his daughters, Aimee Bradley of Herrin and Stephanie Stewart (TC) of Vergennes; his grandchild Ashley Wilson (Cory); his children, Payton Logan (Kyle), Ginger Woolley (Austin), Summer Bradley (Austin Gale), Chad Myers, Jr. (Tali) of Eldorado, Olivia Myers and Tyson Stewart; his siblings, Kay Morefield of Marion, Gary Raines (Judy) of Murphysboro and Debbie Moore of Carbondale; and his close friend Tinker. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
