It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claudia Sue Rheinecker of Murphysboro, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph and Betty Prowell (Bailey); and her husband Steve Rheinecker. She is survived by: her daughter Sara Augenstein (Derrik) of Greenville, IL; her granddaughters, Zoey Deaton and Ada Augenstein; her nieces, Mikayla Rheinecker (Michael Lynd) of Carbondale, Tatum Wallace of Pinckneyville and Jennifer Hagene of Pinckneyville; her siblings, Joseph Prowell, William "Bill" Prowell (Debra) and Pam Vaughn; her sisters-in-law, Laura Shute (Kory) and Jeanne Mucha; and her mother-in-law Linda Roberson.

Friends may make memorials to the family to help with the funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
