She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur J. Hellmer and Josephine M. Hellmer (Korando); her husband Robert A. Heins; and her brothers, John Hellmer (Nancy) and William Hellmer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Heins, Lisa Heins and Susanne Gaffney (Mike); her brother Robert Hellmer (Mary); her pets, Tybalt and Maddie; and her cousin Marilyn Gannon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be made to St. Andrew's School and/or the Humane Society of Southern Illinois.
