He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Baker and Helen Baker (Bean); and his siblings, Gilbert R. Baker, William E. Baker and Pruella Dietz.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberlee; his son-in-law Todd Stewart of Murphysboro; his grandchildren, Aarika Matusik (Joe), Trey Stewart and Tristian Stewart (Nessa); and his great grandchildren, Aaria and Natalie Matusik. He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Alan's family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the First Christian Church of Murphysboro.
