He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Daehler; his children, Walter "Rocky" Daehler, Jr. (Laura), Margaret M. Smidt (Douglas) and Daniel O. Daehler (Jessica); his grandchildren, Rocky III, Katie, Jacob, David, Anna, Isabella and Penelope; and his brother Mark Daehler (Ilse).
