It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Harrer of Mundelein, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Harrer and George Noffke. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Exline; his son Doug Harrer Longpre-Harrer (Amy) of Calumet; his granddaughters, Sadie Longpre-Harrer and Maddie Longpre-Harrer; his cousin Sue Schmidt of Johnsburg, Illinois.; his stepsiblings, Marilee Cederland of Wheeling, Shirlee Schneider of Cave Creek and Richard "Rick" Diesterheft of Libertyville, Illinois.; and his siblings, Linda, Glenn, Laura and Mark Along.
