With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melissa Ann DeVito of Mundelein, Illinois, born in Painesville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024 at the age of 61. As Melissa departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Melissa. Though Melissa may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Riscinite and Carole Riscinite. She is survived by: her husband John DeVito; her children, John DeVito Jr., Nicholas DeVito and Maria DeVito; her sister Andrea Hanley (Kevin); her brother-in-law Michael DeVito (Karen); and also Melissa.
