It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Alvarez (Mundelein, Illinois), who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Alvarez and Petra Blanquiz Alvarez; his siblings, Pedro Alvarez, Ruben Alvarez and Maria Licea; and his wife Victoria.

He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Alvarez, Josephina Delagarza, Jovita Dugan and Dominga Farias. He is also survived by many loving children and grandchildren.
