He is survived by: his son Albert Mota; his parents, Juan Mota Brito and Teresa Guadarama Trujillo; and his siblings, Julia Mota Guadarrama, Lucia Mota Guadarrama, Rosita Pozos and Tomas Mota Guadarrama.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions Juans funeral service will be live streamed.
