He was predeceased by: his sister Socorro Salazar (Ricardo). He is survived by: his wife Irene (Duarte); his children, Luz Comancho (Jose), Ruben Salazar, Aurelio Salazar (Amber), Gabriela Salazar, Maritza Salazar and Ceferino Salazar (Michelle); his grandchildren, Aurelio Salazar Jr., Alexandra Salazar, Antonio Salazar, Lincoln Salazar, Maria Jose Comancho and Valentina Comancho; and his sisters, Beatrice Salazar and Maria Luz Reyes (Raul).
