It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Richert (Mundelein, Illinois), born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his aunt Marlys Richert; his grandmother Elsie Richert; and his brothers-in-law, George Chryst, Doc Schultz and Bill Putnam.

He is survived by: his wife Penny Putnam; his daughters, Susan Corwith (Dan) and Annie Ballweg (Sam); his grandchildren, Michael, Brooke and Brandon Ballweg; his sister Lynn Schultz; his sisters-in-law, Patty Chryst and Trishy Putnam; and his nieces and nephews, Becky Harmsen (Emil), Carrie Shade (Steve), Rick Chryst, Geep Chryst (Shelley), Cathy Greco (Bob), Paul Chryst (Robin), Dolly Strauser (Dave), Bill Putnam (Emily) and Rachel Olsen (Ron).
