He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Swanson of Mundelein; his brother Gene Swanson (Jaynell); his children, Wendy Haase, Heidi Furr (Rob), Dawn Rickman (Michael) and Kurt Swanson (Marc Haupert); his grandchildren, Luke, Jacob, Sandra, Martin, Robert, Jonathan, Rebekah and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Melody, Evelyn, Aria, Emery, Brynn and Eloise. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
