He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Ronald Crawford, William Crawford (Christina), Alison Crawford, Brian Crawford (Georgia), Kenneth Toeller (Polly), Sharon Stair (John), Jeffrey Toeller (Cheryl), Christine Lang (Robert), Angela DeVita and Theresa Tuskey (Eric); and his siblings, Linda Dockery (Bert) of Gastonia, NC, Rhonda Sharpe of Gastonia, NC, Phyllis Moss (Mike) of Gastonia, NC and Jack Crawford (Teresa) of Port Charllotte, FL. He is also survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to hear this. What was the cause? I wish his family well during this sad time and will say prayers for them and for Hal. He has been in my life and my children's lives it seems forever. My husband and I met him when he got out of the army and came to Highland Park. We used to go out a lot at that time when our children were small. We would go dancing and you all know how much Hal loved to dance! We did keep in touch just to know each other was fine. He will be greatly missed.”
