He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Schmidt and Clara Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn; his children, Paul Schmidt, David Schmidt, Steven Schmidt, Gail Johnson (Bob) and Nancy Henningfield (Mike); his grandchildren, Kayleigh Day, Emily Day Megan Tunberg and Sarah Rau; and his great grandchild Margaret.
