She was predeceased by: her parents, Felipe Abonal and Ramona Peña; and her sister Irene (Lupercio Azul Sr.). She is survived by: her children, Jaime (Eva), Celeste (Bievenido), Lupercio Junior (Nilda), Raul (Celeste), Edgardo and Rodolfo; her grandchildren, Paul James (Michaela), Victor, Jameson, Jason (Sarah), Melissa (Camdin), Cynthia, Brian (Lauren) and Clinton; and her great grandchildren, Darren, Isabella, Camden, Bennett and Ava Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kristan Funeral Home (219 W Maple Ave, Mundelein, IL 60060). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Maria Del Popolo Church (116 N Lake St, Mundelein, IL 60060).
