He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad O'Connell and Irene O'Connell. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; and his children, Conrad (Pam), Brian (Yen) and Jennifer (Joseph). He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild, six sisters, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kristan Funeral Home (219 W Maple Ave, Mundelein, IL 60060). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Maria Del Popolo Church (116 N Lake St, Mundelein, IL 60060).

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Conrad's name to Santa Maria del Popolo, 116 N. Lake St., Mundelein, IL, 60060.
