He was predeceased by: his wife Carlene Fitz-Hugh; his parents, Charles Fitz-Hugh and Marie Fitz-Hugh; and his grandchildren, Josiah McManus and Heather Jobe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Swanson (Donald), Kim McManus and Keri Fitzhugh-Jobe (Charles); his grandchildren, Jeremi McManus (Kathleen), Megan Maloney (Daniel), Naomi Rodante (Matthew), Hannah Amburgy (Scott), Eric Swanson, Laurel Jobe and Matthew Jobe; his great grandchildren, Emilyn Dycus, Lena Rodante, Noah Dycus, Minya Rodante, Isaiah Rodante, Melody Dycus, Malaya Amburgy, Madelyn Maloney, Avery Amburgy, Everley Amburgy, Grace Maloney, Ariyah Amburgy, Graysen McManus, Parker McManus and Jack Maloney; and his sister Jean Fitz-Hugh.
