He was predeceased by: his parents, Verni O'Connor and Elva O'Connor (Hansel); his wife Jean Farmer; his brothers, Dr. Lowell O'Connor, Louis O'Connor and Frank O'Connor; and his sister-in-law Darlene O'Connor.

He is survived by: his children, Michael O'Connor (Tanya) of Tiffin and Kelly O'Connor-Henderson (Rob) of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Lucas, Nicholas O'Connor, Robert and Kylie Henderson; and his sister-in-law Nancy O'Connor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
