He was predeceased by: his wife Antonetta; his daughter Ginger; and his brothers-in-law, Adam Bartnowski and Cliff Bembinski. He is survived by: his children, George Kawell, Guy Kawell (Mary Kay) and Gia Willems (Matt Smith); his sisters, Elaine Bartnowski and Gerri Bembinski; and his grandchildren, Cameron Beedle (Dan), George Kawell Jr., Ellie and Nina Willems.
