David McClelland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2025, at the age of 85, David McClelland of Mulkeytown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh McClelland and Miriam McClelland (Anderson); and his sister Nancy Harvick. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley McClelland (Walters). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and one great great niece.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (209 N Emma St, Christopher, IL 62822). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
